Greetings,

It's been a very busy last couple of days for the legion. I for one am overly amazed at how come together this legion has become. On day one we were not only able to get the legion up within a couple hours of headstarts launch, but we were able to get level 2 by the end of the evening (would of been earlier if I wasn't stuck in a 3 1/2 hour queue). Again, many thanks goes out to all the members that generously donated to make this happen. Also, thanks goes out to those that patiently waited for an invite while we worked on getting this.

Our next goal is to get the legion to level 3. This will up the cap to 90 members (not sure if we'll ever have the need to go that high), but also allow us to wear our legions emblem / colors. The requirements for this are:

+1.2 Million Kinah
+20,000 Contribution Points

I'll be taking donations and placing them in the legions vault, then tallying up what we have so far in kinah and contribution points, and putting that updated number in the announcement. I may also update this when we're getting closer to our mark.

Also I came across an article posted by Knite at aionsource.com regarding an interview with Brian Knox, regarding the current issues with the headstart. The post doesn't go over much other than them explaining the need for queues and why they are doing what they are doing. They are also looking into the the AFK personal shops as well. For more information, check out the post at: http://www.aionsource.com/forum/news-announcements/63744-aion-head-start-issues-interview.html

I for one haven't had the need to use a personal shop to AFK, except for last night while making dinner. The only reason I was even able to log in last night was because I was able to remotely log into my computer while in class and get myself in queue, then got home, logged in, and setup a shop while i made a meal (probably didnt even need to, but didnt want to risk it). I have been through multiple MMO's and thus know the need for these queues, however frustrating them may be. I trust that this isn't a lasting issue and once things settle, queues will be a thing of the past. /crossfingers

I'm gonna have to get with you on the remote part of things... That sounds like a great idea for me to do a couple hours before I leave work.

Honestly without it, Galreya or I wouldn't have a chance to even play.

What I use is LogMeIn (http://www.logmein.com). You can setup an account and use the free edition just fine. Once you setup an account, you log in through a browser on the computer you want to remote to, then go to "Add Computer" and go through the whole installation process. THen when you login to your account remotely, you can remotely access that computer and get yourself in queue. It's pretty laggy and hard to work with, but its definitely better than having to wait 3 - 4 hours in a queue when you get home =/.

I see the free version is just a trial, how long will this last for before I must purchase it?

The free version of LogMeIn shouldn't be a trial, I have been using it for about 3 years now. They do however really try to push trials of their actual purchasable software (they gotta make money somehow i suppose haha): https://secure.logmein.com/US/products/free/

Cool, I will look it up when I get home, whilst waiting in the queue when I get home today.
